Dual occupancy surveys are required for the set out and subdivision of two dwellings constructed on a single lot. The two dwellings can be detached (separate freestanding buildings) or attached (duplexes). The subdivision of dual occupancy is permissible in New South Wales. It can be either a Torrens Title subdivision or Strata Title subdivision.
